Are you looking to start selling your merch but you don't want to worry about shipping, handling, inventory, etc?

Then here are some POD (Print-On-Demand) websites that will handle everything for you so you can just start uploading your designs right away!!

Note: With all these websites you do need to consider the profit margin, since they do everything for you, they usually have a base price for each product. In some cases, you can increase your artist margin by increasing the final retail price.

1. Redbubble:

Redbubble is great for an independent artist to sell their products. This site has over 60 products where you can sell your designs. From t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, notebooks, phone cases, duvet covers and so much more.

Redbubble receives quite a lot of traffic, so you can get some organic traffic to your store as well!. Now, there are many shops on Redbubble, therefore, there is a lot of competition too. Because of that, if you are just starting, don't depend only on the existing traffic that Redbubble has, but also try to attract your own audience from other social platforms as well.

How to get paid:

There are 2 ways:

• Link your verified Paypal account.
• Get a direct deposit to your Bank account. (Only available for US, UK, and Australian Bank accounts)

Note: Keep in mind to set the right currency when you open your shop as you won't be able to change it once is set.

2. Spring (Used to be Teespring):

Spring is another great choice to start selling your designs. They also offer a wide range of products, and you can also sell digital products! That's right. You can also sell wallpapers, digital planners, printable, and more.

With Spring, however, you probably won't get organic traffic. This is because you will have your own shop. In order to get traffic, you need to bring it yourself. Spring makes it easier for you by having social integrations, which allow you to sell your products through Instagram, Twitch, Tiktok, Youtube, etc.

One of the benefits is that when you share the link to your shop, customers won't be tempted to check others stores or designs because it will only show yours.

How to get paid:

There are 2 ways:

• Paypal
• Payoneer (In countries where getting your money from PayPal is difficult or not even possible to use Paypal at all, you can try opening a free Payoneer account - you can even get a physical Prepaid Mastercard to either shop in-store, online or take out money from ATM)

3. Society 6

‍

Society 6 is another famous site where you can start uploading your work. They have over 30+ products which are a bit less than Redbubble and Spring. Society 6 has a strong focus on wall art, and home decor, with the art prints being their bestsellers. However, that doesn't mean you can't still upload your crazy pizza design or any other pop or novelty design for that matter, just that they would probably sell more on another site like Redbubble or Spring.

So if your design falls more under the abstract, patterns, watercolors, florals, bohemian, minimalist (Okay, you get the idea) Then you may want to give Society 6 a try, since probably most of the traffic that the website gets is from people looking for that kind of aesthetics.

A disadvantage with Society 6 is that with the exception of some products you cant increase the retail price. So in most cases, you will only get 10% of the retail price.

How to get paid:

There is only one way and it is through PayPal.

TIP 1:

To boost sales you can also create your own mockups for digital or physical products + social media posts.

I have been using it a lot since I found out about it. It is really simple to use and very intuitive. They offer a free subscription in which you can use a bunch of free social media templates, typeface, icons, and more. However, if you want to take advantage of many of the Pro features and templates, you might want to check the Pro Version or take advantage of the 30-Days trial.

TIP 2:

Instead of setting up only 1 income stream, why not setting 2 or 3? (Or even more at some point?) With Redbubble, Spring, and Society 6, your designs are not bound to one specific website. You can open a shop on each platform and start selling in all of them!!
